New Year 2012 officially kicks off in Rotterdam with the National Firework Show at the Erasmus Bridge. Both the bridge and a floating pontoon on the river Maas form a marvellous architectural stage setting with the various docks as a natural grandstand for the biggest fireworks show in the Netherlands.
